- The Society's quarterly journal Manuscripts is its flagship publication. Established in 1948 as the Autograph Collector's Journal, its name was changed in 1953 to reflect the growing diversity of its membership which included scholars, librarians, and archivists as well as collectors and autograph firms outside the United States. - The Manuscript Society News
- The Society established a separate newsletter—The Manuscript Society News—in 1980 to keep members abreast of the organization's activities. Within a few short years, the News expanded its scope to include coverage of national and international events relating to the field of autographs and manuscripts and began publication on a quarterly basis. - Book Publications
- The Society entered the world of book publishing in 1978 when its members brought out Autographs and Manuscripts: A Collector's Manual. In the intervening years, the Society and its members have published a variety of books related to manuscripts and autographs—many of which are still in print today. (More...)
